We met in October 2020, when I (Chris) moved into a new shared house in London,
unknown to me, with Lucy’s best friend Olly (and now my best man) during the covid lockdowns.

Many aggressive and controversial boardgame nights later, Lucy and I started dating in the spring of 2021.

On our first ‘April Adventure’ in 2022, we embarked on an ambitious journey to walk the Royal Military Canal, which would take us from Folkestone to Rye, where we fell in love with the Ancient Town (and each other).

Three years after we started dating, we moved into our flat together (nicknamed 1 Jacket Potato) in January of 2024.

In 2025, during our April Adventure road tripping across Ireland from County Down to Donegal, I proposed to Lucy on Sliabh Liag on the 11th April 2025.
